Southern Africa Overlanding Storage was built for a question overlanders kept asking: who looks after my vehicle when I go back home?
Drop your vehicle off the day before your flight. We pick you up at OR Tambo when you fly back in. Your rig is washed, charged, licensed, serviced, and parked exactly where you left it.
Not a friend doing you a favour. Not a yard with a padlock and a camera nobody's watching. A small team that knows your vehicle by name and answers the WhatsApp at 7am.

What we kept noticing was this: overlanders kept coming through Southern Africa on extraordinary trips, but kept struggling to find a proper place to leave their vehicle while they flew home. After some searching we met Duncan from African Overlanders who confirmed that there is a need for overlanding support near Pretoria/Johannesburg. That's how we decided to start Southern Africa Overlander Storage: a place where someone actually cared about the vehicle the way the owner would.
We care deeply about the overlanders we've met on this journey. And we built SAOS to be the support this community deserves...starting here in Johannesburg, and growing across Southern Africa.
